    History

In 1865 No122 was recorded as a Fancy Repository run by Peter James Bensley and by 1932 the shop had become a Clothier simply called Bradley's. During the 1950's the shop was recorded as a Confectioner's run by Mr J. E. Mallett and was open right up to the 1960's when it became the Rendezvous Cafe run by Mr R Whinney. The current picture how the shop looks today and it is the only Newsagents left in the High Street.
