Not only do we do your laundry, we talk about your friends and family, you tell us when you’re sick or looking after someone that is. We see people of their good days, bad days, week after week.
It’s not just a laundrette, it’s a hub of friendship and support for our community. Thank you to everyone that’s supported us, it’s not unnoticed and I can’t wait to welcome more people as we grow 🫶🏻
Love from Jacintha and my amazing team 🫶🏻
History
No143 Was for its early years one of the town's many Pawn Brokers, in 1900 Edgar Norman Larke. In the Kelly's Directory of 1932 the shop had passed to Edgar's son, a Mr Donald. B. Larke and carried on the family business right up to the late 1950's. After the shop closed as a Pawn Brokers it became Laundromat, Launderett.
