53 High Street
History
No53 in 1865 was the Tailoring business belonging to Michael Golder, but during the second World War the building was heavily damaged which the frontage being rebuilt in the 1950's. When the picture was taken in 1998 the door into the post office was to the side with the letter box built into the frontage of the building. In the current picturethe front door has been moved to the front thus allowing space inside the building. Let's keep using it so we don't lose it!
