    1981. High winds knocked the roof tiles off Flint House one afternoon. The road was closed until the tiles could be secured the next morning and the strong winds had died down. CREDIT:Crispin Hook

    One of Lowestoft's Our Fallen lived here... 


    The Globe as it can be seen in the 2nd picture was taken around the 1880's and it shows the original buildings of the terrace. The road was widened in 1885 and all these building were demolished but all the Shop numbers remained the same to this day. 

    These pictures are a fantastic snap shot of Victoria life in Lowestoft, I wonder what ever happened to the dogs and what the people in the picture did for a living? CREDIT:Crispin Hook
