The Lowestoft Old and Now High Street Stroll

Creating the Stroll is technically quite difficult, and we use several different pieces of software and some specific coding to make it work. 

The basic idea is to reproduce a walk along Lowestoft's Historic High Street. Simples, eh.. We wanted to show it as it is, and simultaneously include historical information about the buildings. ( WEST side, EAST side, more )

Welcome to the Scores Trail. This booklet has been designed to help you understand a little more of Lowestoft history and of the significance of these ancient pathways leading down to the sea. You can find your way around the trial by reading the map in the attached Ledford leaflet or by following the red herring way markers. Lowestoft was originally built on top of the cliffs overlooking the North Sea. A simple guide..

firstly you need to create a catalogue which is a container that holds information about all the items you want to advertise or sell on Facebook and Instagram.

Before you begin

Create a Facebook Page for your business if you don't have one yet.

Set up Business Manager so you can assign your catalogue to your business. 

Create a catalogue

To create a new catalogue:

Go to Commerce Manager. 
Start creating your catalogue:

Despite losing the initial recording (a fascinating in depth conversation between Joe and John regarding our last meeting). We we're able to recreate some of it's magic with a 1 min monologue from Joe.

Tuesday's warning that gas shortages in this coming winter might lead to interrupted electricity supplies – that is, power cuts – reminded me of Lowestoft's own new power station.

The East Coast College off St Peter's Street hosted this annual event (29/30 October 2022).

Hidden amongst the hundreds of older men with grey hair and beards packing the main halls and myriad smaller rooms of the East Coast College Energy Centre there was extraordinary array of models and modellers. Outside there were working steam engines huffing and puffing round the car park, and RC helicopters almost looping the loop.
