What I wish I had written down somewhere

First create your website content - in our case it was https://ourfallen.lowestoftoldandnow.org

and the content pages included the following important fields

Content: Lived at:family_name [hidden] (VIEWS > Style H4)
Content: Title (VIEWS > Style H4)
Content: Image [hidden] (VIEWS > Rewrite > custom text > "{{ field_image_1__target_id }}" / No results behavior > Text > "hidepic")
Content: Image (VIEWS > Style {{ field_image_1 }})
Content: Lived at:given_name [hidden] (VIEWS > Style H6)
Content: Lived at:address_line1
Content: Lived at:address_line2 (VIEWS > Style STRONG)
Content: Lived at:administrative_area
Content: Lived at:dependent_locality
Content: Lived at:locality
Content: Body (VIEWS > Rewrite > Strip HTML tags)
Content: CountryOfService (Country of Service) [hidden]
Content: BranchService (Branch/Service) [hidden]
Content: Regiment (Unit) [hidden]
Content: ServiceNumber (VIEWS > Rewrite > Country of Service: {{ field_countryofservice }}, Branch/Service: {{ field_branchservice }}, Unit: {{ field_regiment }}, Service No.: {{ field_servicenumber }}

Create a page view with the above fields and inc CSS classes "msword floatright totfull". 

eg https://ourfallen.lowestoftoldandnow.org/full/msword10pt Display as paged view max 550 items. In our case then copy and paste each of these 4 pages into MSWord

Decide on title, subtitle author contributors- it must match EVERYWHERE or the book will not be approved
